How To Get Rid Of Constipation – 5 Tips

Using natural remedies to get rid of a condition such as constipation is the best you can do. You should avoid at all cost pumping yourself with laxatives containing tons of chemicals, which beside the fact that will cause addiction to your system, can also be harmful to other organs (i.e. your liver). The side effects of laxatives and enemas can be very damaging to your whole digestive system; this is why you need to implement only natural treatments in dealing with constipation. You can have healthy bowel movements if you make a change in your dietary habits, such as consuming many fruits, vegetables and foods containing fiber.

 

Constipation can be frustrating and it can have many uncomfortable symptoms such as headaches, bloating or mood swings. In order to eliminate these, you must eat healthy, hydrate yourself properly (by drinking at least 2 liters of pure water per day), and introduce regular physical exercise in your everyday habits. If not treated, constipation can very simply turn into irritable bowel syndrome, which will have an even more adverse effect on your entire body.

 

Among the natural remedies that you can consume in order to fight constipation are the boysenberries for example. Consuming boysenberry juice will have a laxative effect, which is not an intruding effect such as chemical capsules might have. Then, cantaloupe fruit is very rich in fiber, and so are the figs. These will help you obtain healthy bowel movements and help you get rid of the frustrating symptoms of constipation. After meals, one tablespoon of flaxseed oil can also give you relief. Epsom Salts also constitute an alternative. It is very important that you choose the remedy that mostly suits your needs, and the one that your organism can tolerate best. If you like fruits more, then eat high fiber content fruits; if you tolerate oils, then take one or two spoons of olive oil or flaxseed oil after meals to help you with your condition.
