Causes and Symptoms of Constipation – How To Get Red Of it

By Body Health Guide

Hemorrhoid Cures

Constipation is a condition that can occur occasionally, but if it is bothering you more than two or three times per week, it means that can be a problem. Firstly, you must check your dietary habits. Are you eating more than two times per week fast food? Are you drinking fizzy drinks instead of water? Do you prefer packaged snacks instead of eating an apple? If you answer yes to more than one question, then your dietary habits are very bad. This also might be the cause for your constipation.

What you should do is to start eliminating completely packaged snacks of any kind from your diet, and eat instead an apple or another fruit of your choice. Then, do not drink fizzy drinks at all. Instead, make sure you drink between six and eight glasses of pure water per day. You will notice a change in your bowel movements within three days. You will see how easy it can be, with a small lifestyle change to get rid of constipation. Many individuals use laxatives in order to have that guaranteed bowel movement per day. Even physicians point out that this is not a healthy habit, because you can easily become dependent on them. A change in your lifestyle and a little physical exercise can work wonders.

You should include on your shopping list the following foods rich in fiber: bran, wheat, psyllium husks, kiwis and figs. For example, you can make a habit of eating a few figs soaked in milk each night before bed. This will guarantee healthy bowel movements in the morning, and thus you will look and feel great the entire day. Constipation can have some frustrating symptoms (headaches, mood swings, excessive bloating, being tired all the time etc) and why not avoid them if you can.
